Loan is not yet 16, but she is already national French Champion. By winning last month the all-around title in Rouen, she get to make the team to Montpellier. She will participate to her first European Championships as a senior.
What made you start gymnastics?
I started gymnastics because my brother was already doing artistic and I was very attracted to this sport.
What is a typical day like?
On the morning I have 2 hours of school and 2h of workout. After lunch I also have 2 hours of school then 3h30 of gymnastics. Before I go home, I have physio sessions.
What is your gymnastics’ best memory?
All the competitions I made are good memories…
Do you feel more pressure with a European Championships organized in France, with the French audience?
No it’s totally the opposite for me. I prefer when the arena I sold out!
What did you feel when you won the National Champion title? Did you think you just earned your selection for the European Championships for example?
I was happy because it was not easy to win, there was a fight until the end. And yes, I thought about Montpellier, and then I was almost sure to make the team…
